My top issue - an update:
Dunno how, but somehow a simple Vag-Com code clear at the dealer fixed my issue. They claim that a code was thrown, they cleared it, un-plug and then re-plugged in the top computer, and all is swell.
I tried a Vag-Com and couldn't get into the convertible top module. Seems they can, they cleared a code, and all is fixed. Apparently it took all of 10 minutes.
*shrug*
Guess I should be happy it's not anything worse.
