Hi a bit new to this type of thing
has anyone any idea's wher i can get a replacement lever for the roof box ( in the boot just below the boot hinges) my ham fisted kids have snapped the plastic links behind the plastic panell.
i have only been offered the whole new roof box & £390 , this thing is just a plastic lever.
Any one any idea's

Having had two replaced (one from a rear hit car accident / the other just snapped when I moved it and I don't appear to be ham-fisted), I can tell you this thing is pretty flimsy and the lever is attached to a very thin cable. In my experience, when you "break" the lever, the cable snaps and thus no tension and no raising / lowering of the storage box. So you may unfortunately need the whole silly box.
In fairness to your kids, it's not the sturdiest engineering. I've seen the whole part - box, cable & all - out of the box and it's all light weight plastic. It's also challenging to install due to it's location.
Mine was about $700 for parts and labor (an Audi part but done at my trusted independent rpr shop).
