2014 a6 rear bumper removal
Greetings,
I did a check and couldn't find were anyone had some instructions for removing the rear bumper on this model car. Anyone out there know how to do it that will share? I was going to install a RS6 rear diffuser and it looks like it may be easer to do it with the rear bumper removed.

Suggest you download the service manuals ($35 for a day to download all instructions, erwin audi usa com) because there are a few steps, but not difficult it seems, 2015+ different then up to 2014 as well. 5 bolts each side, then remove outer tail lights, then 1 more bolt and pins, snaps revealed looks like.

Did the download manuals direction. It wasn't a bad job at all. I did look at the 2015+ and it was a little different but not very much. For information sake, the RS6 diffuser doesn't even come close to fitting. It would be lots of cutting and fitting. NOT a real easy DIY Saturday morning job. Now to find a Mythos black rear bumper cover to hack up and get the diffuser panel to fit then swap it out another weekend.Sounds like a picture project to post.
