2014 Audi Q7 leased
My lease is up in July. According to VW documents I am only entitled to 2,000 due to being a lessee even though the contract is a lease with an option to buy. Why am I not considered an owner when I leased it in July of 2014, it was with the intention of buying it at the end?
If I do decide to buy will Audi recertify it?
The vwcourtsettlement online states that I have to agree to them fixing it? What if they cannot fix it!
Where am I then? Should I just turn the SUV in even though I have loved it?
Any advice

You don't say where you are located but here in the UK the key difference between buying somethiong on a lease as opposed to most other forms of finance is that with a lease you do not own the car, basically you are just renting it and indeed on the registration document it is the leasing company's name not the leasee's. Leasing is popular for businesses because of tax advantages but is not that attractive for the private buyer.
