Default 2016 A6 3.0 stalling/CEL - what can AoA do to help

Hi everyone - I've been lurking for years now and I appreciated your thoughts on many issues about my A6 and my prior five other Audis over the year. I have a 16 A6 3.0 P+ that has had a persistent stalling and CEL issue. I've taken it to a dealership in Chicago and two dealers in CT over the past year for eight total visits covering more than 50 days in the shop and still no luck in resolving the issue. I'd just lemon-law it but the issue appeared at month 13 (IL law is 12 months). I finally called AoA today and the rep was very patient. Then she asked "what would you like us to do?" and I drew a complete blank. What can AoA do for me? I've never dealt with an issue like this before and what options do I have since lemon law can't apply? Thanks for your help!

ask them to lemon it. You started the process before 12 months was up, you are a loyal customer.

I'm not sure where you bought it - CT or IL, but if you bought/leased it in CT it is 24 months or 24,000 miles. If you acquired it in IL, since it is clearly a safety issue, I would hope that AOA would honor a lemon request or at least an attractive trade-in for a new car. I assume that sometime during your eight dealer visits that a factory tech was brought aboard. If, not, insist on it.

I would have asked for the vehicle to be replaced, at their expense, and see what their counteroffer was. But that's just me....
