Here's what I do (and will for the 75K service). My Audi service advisor writes up the service as ala carte items with their available coupon discounts. Assuming I need an oil change, a filter, a pollen filter and an inspection, it will run me about $160. Then, if I need a belt, he's told me it would run $100 parts/labor.

Vodka G makes a good point, they just changed the SC belt not that long ago so if there was an issue it should have been flagged.

I think I will try it snagitseven's way and see if I can order off the al a carte menu. Crossing my fingers and hoping my belt is good.

I agree i looked at the factory service sheet and at 75K other than a bunch of checking things over are an oil change and inspection of the V-Belt and Tensioner - not the SC belt - that should have been done at 55K.

Dont forget your brake fluid - every 2 years regardless of mileage.

yeah but the thing is that the Serp belt (aka the V belt) is due for replacement at 80k miles anyways.....It also doesn't take much to take a flash light and look at the belt to see if there are any crack, tear etc.

No. It's Audi indication "End of Life" for their car is 100K. Think we can beat that.
