So I have tried to rotate the video cable and it didn't helped. I get error video cable not connected or something like that. I have checked through my vcds scan and only component that using SARA is sensor Electronic on address 3B. There is no coding available there, but basic settings is available but I don't know what it does.
Indeed, error from 8E would have been something like : "Video Cable for Image Processing Signal Failure"
I have successfully retrofitted Active Lane Assist in my 2015 A6 4G, well it works but the 5F menus do not. For a facelift car I have used the following 5F adaptations which bring up a menu of Audi Lane Assist with one sub menu of Steering Vibration Soft/Medium/Stong. I cannot make any changes using the menu. Also the menu keeps disappearing or going grey when driving. I have missing messages errors on 85 module (image processing).
According to the manual I should get Audi Active Lane Assist with two sub menus (Steering Input, early/late and Vibration on/off). Clearly this points to incorrect adaptations on the 5F.
The adaptation changes available for all the lane assistant and departure warning I have made are as below. I have fiddled with the ones for lane_assistant but this seems enable what I would call side assist. I have both on my A8 but that is not using MIB2 5F and just has green menu. I cannot find any other options that relate to Active Lane Assist.

does your car have the 8E From the factory? Or retrofited? Mine does not, and i’m struggeling to figure out where the cables from the 8E goes. Mine does not have acc.

Hi there, I can help you. Do you not have 8e which is the camera or 85 image processing. I had the 8e as the car had matrix lights but not the 85. I got all the cabling info from ElsaWin, do you have the wiring diagrams. If you don’t have 8e you will need, screen, camera and then calibration.
I have the camera 85 up and running. Elsawin says there is cables to pins 3 and 29 in the abs. If i plug in the cables on the abs unit, it disables itself, and i get all error codes possible, due to missing nr 03. If i remove the wire, its all back to normal. So is elsawin wrong? Or is there a second solution? Did i do something wrong? Abs sw ends with Q
