Anyone running a tune on a C7.5 2.0T?
Interested in running a Stage 1 tune on a 2016 C7.5 2.0T Quattro. I've had a few other 2.0T VW's tuned with APR software. Looking for advice on which tune to get, I'm considering JB4 or APR, but open. Leaning toward APR due to past experiences being very positive. Sound like this engine is the same as the B9 2017+ A4, so should pull similar figures. Also looking to install a catch can, considering ECS tuning unless anyone has any recommendations. Any thoughts are appreciated!

I'm also considering Neuspeed Power Module, not quite the gains or customization of the JB4, but the install is super simple so I can remove it every time I go to the dealer to avoid a TD1.

Don't bother, I did that and it didn't make a difference that I could notice. Sold it on CL. APR tune is the way to go. Keep an eye out for specials they run to save a little.

Thats interesting because I went with Neuspeed and I’d say it’s got about 80% of the power of the APR tune without the TD1 worry. Pulls much harder in lower RPMs, no need to wring out the engine. Maybe after my warranty is over I’ll flash it for a little extra power.

I have Unitronic Stage 1+ ECU Tune on my C7.5 A6 2.0T with a turbo muffler delete, injen cold air intake, upgraded brake rotors (Zimmermann), and brake pads (Brembo), and H&R lowering springs. Below are the links:

I have put on 30,000 miles after the tune and I had no issues so far.

Both stage 1 and 1+ are ECU tunes but the difference is horsepower. Check unitronic's website for more info. No hardware is required for stage 1+. APR offers a cheaper alternative to unitronic tune. Check that out if you are on a budget.

Going to go to my local shop today and check out all my options. I’m really excited about the injen intake, the aftermarket for A6 2.0 was almost non existent a year ago lol
