Default Debris in Rear Passenger Footwell Duct

Hi all,

I have something rolling back and forth in my rear passenger footwell duct (Item 21). I have use a vacuum, double sided tape and a neodinium magnet to try and fish whatever this is out of the duct to no luck, nor have I managed to prod it with anything to verify if it is definitely in this duct (However it sure sounds like it!)

#21

Does anyone know if I remove the pillar trim, interior door sill the rear bench and the passenger seat, as below:

Passenger Floor

Should I be able to lift the carpet enough from the edge to be able to disconnect the duct and find what is rolling around?

Thanks!

There is one nut to be removed on the rear seat brace. You should be able to lift the duct off the stud and wiggle it out. If it anything like the engine air intake, it won't come out easily and it may be almost impossible to install.

Eliminate all other possible causes before taking it apart.
