Default Direct and port injection

Do any Audi models in the US have both direct and port fuel injection engines?

Are you referring to the system that I believe Toyota has which, among other things, is presumably designed to avoid the carbon buildup on the valves that our cars are susceptible to? I do not believe that VAG has yet signed on to this system.

Ford has this too now. It keeps the valves clean, but also is better for emissions under certain conditions. The ECU switches between Direct, Port, or both automatically.

The VW group does use port and direct injection with many of their engines in other (e.g.European) markets but necessarily for the reasons mentioned above. The reason both types of injection are used is that port injection provides better mixing which reduces pollutants and soot. DI provides better cooling of the piston which enables them to use a higher compression ratio resulting in a bit better efficiency. DI is used for WOT or strong demands for power and is also used for idling. Port injection is used for other ( ~80%) times such as cruising for lower emissions. Toyota had a very big problem in the past with buildup in the intake areas even before DI was used. It was a famously widespread problem. "Tick and Tack" from the Boston NPR radio show ( remember them?) called it the "Toyota Camry Syndrome" where the engine would slowly but surely lose power over time. My understanding is that in recent years VW and other companies had reduced the intake area and valve buildup by better controlling crankcase pressure as well as other changes. Using both DI and port injection provides better ( lower emissions and soot) as well as maintaining the efficiency of DI with the side benefit of applying fuel with detergents to the intake area. The downside is increased cost an complexity.
