It didn't move back when I arrived at my destination. 😞 I guess I got excited that the seat moved. It's so inconsistent though. Sometimes my seat moved sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes my steering wheel moves sometimes it doesn't and I have to hit the memory button.

I never have the issue with the wheel not moving, but one of the posters above said his moved back when the car was left overnight. I guess see what happens for the morning.

See post #65. It didn't continue to work and hasn't since. I agree that it was my keyfob seat memory that fooled me.

Interesting discussion. I took my 2016 A6 in for the first service. Used the memory function to set the seat to my memorized setting. Went to fill up on gas...and both the seat and steering wheel moved. Seat moved all the way back. Previously only the steering wheel moved out of the way. Had to press and hold the M1 button after getting back in. Since then the car reverted back to only the wheel moving. Would be great to understand what's happening.

One of those small, twisted, Audi Black Forest software engineer gnomes knows the answer. First person to figure it out wins a free cup of coffee at the next dealer service. And a donut if they're lucky.
