Moonlightblue

My steering column comes down as I've set it to do when I start the engine. When I turn off the ignition, the steering column rises up so that I can more easily exit the vehicle. This week I've noticed a light sound when it comes down. It's very hard to describe. It''s not a grinding sound, but almost sounds like the column is brushing against something for a moment when it's moving. Anyone experience anything similar? Consensus is that I should bring it to the dealer and get it looked at while it's still in warranty, correct?
