Default Fuel filter

anyone replace their Gasoline fuel filter via the rear seat yet?
I don’t see any reference to a schedule maintenance for the filter. I only see it for TDI models.

What model/engine do you have, my manual says its under an exterior trim panel on bottom of car on passenger side.

MY 2014 A6

The filter is definitely NOT under the car. It is accessed through the tank and described in the manual.

Ok, we still don't know what engine you have, but for my 2.0L (and maybe there is more than one filter), the Audi Service manual has instructions below when you search for "fuel filter", just saying. GL.

It also says "diesel engines", and not gasoline, in your manual. As always, these manuals are not verbose in their descriptions, as if more words cost them more money.

Lol, good to know, further searching, does in fact, find another "fuel filter" in a separate "Petrol Engines" section. Thanks, will save time in the future no doubt!

Mine is also a 2.0 tfsi. I already tried to replace it but I had too much fuel in the tank. It is suggested to have less than 1/4 tank. You’ll also need to buy two clips that have to be replaced once you pop the rear seat bench up. They were only $3.00 each from the dealer. The cheapest bill I ever paid from a dealer.
