Folks - let this be a lesson: the claim the our trannys have "lifetime" ATF is bullcrap. I didn't risk it and flushed all my fluids, including tranny, diffs, brake, coolant, etc. at 50K miles. Cost about $1500 give or take and totally worth it. You can get a full tranny flush kit for about $400-450ish which includes fluid, filters, gaskets - etc. I (knock on wood) have not had any issues with my tranny aside from the occasional 1st-to-2nd rough shift on cold morning (and it wasn't as much rough as it was "pushy" for a lack of a better word).
Change your fluids - it's worth every penny.

thanks for all of the help. I am trying to find an independent that will do the work. My normal independent doesn't touch transmissions. Since my car is <100k I am not sure that is a safe number. I have had bad luck with Audi automatics. My allroad had the transmission go out twice. Whereas my manual 200 20v, S6, CGT, never had any issues.
