Interesting, for the first time ever I received an after purchase amenity from Audi of America. I'm on my 4th A6 (1999, 2002, 2008 and 2012) and have never gotten as much as a travel mug or key chain before. I'm not sure if the local dealership arranged this or if it indeed was sponsored bu Audi of America. In any event, a large box with one of those accordian style file storage thingy's with pre-printed labels for service records, fnancials etc. and a pair of Bang and Olufsen A8 earbuds.

Is this common or did I finally get some special recognition from Audi?

A7 owners have recently been receiving similar gifts. I was beginning to wonder if this was going to trickle down to us A6-ers as well.

I've purchased several Audis over the last 10 years and on each occasion I have received a bunch of flowers for the wife, an Audi umbrella and get to pick what Audi jacket that takes my fancy.

I assumed this was just normal but it appears not.

I heard that "flowers for the wife" was a tradition in France when someone bought a car, I wonder how wide spread that is.

I got this too. Pretty cool. Earbuds are real nice. I thought it was for people who got the b&o sound system, sIncentive that's what I got.

I received a large packet when I bought my CPO '08 A6 but nothing so far for the '12. I bought mine 7/30.

My salesman gave me two free key chains.

He was holding an Audi umbrella, but it was his lol, he dashed my dreams of getting something nice. The key chains are cool, they're the same exact ones I got from Lexus, but of course have the Audi logo.

I'll be waiting to see if I get something nice in the mail too!!
