2012A6er

Hello all,

Looking to get my first Audi, love the new 2012 line.

Looking at the prestige with 18 inch sport package, cold weather and side assist options.

Narrowed color down to Moonlight blue (which I saw in person), Quartz gray metallic, Aviator Blue which I saw on this site, and he Garnet red.

I like the idea of the red but need to see it before I order it.

Leaning toward the beige or gray interior which makes be lean toward the blue or red cars which would look great with either interior. The gray car with gray interior might be a bit boring. Never been into the black interior.

Has anyone seen the Garnet red in person? Or the quartz or dakota grays? My local dealer just got in 6 cars, 4 in black, one white, and one midnight blue.

That link looks more like Brilliant Red or even Misano Red...the garnet red is a deeper red (see A7 link I posted above).

Dakota Grey is pretty close to Beige, its like a tan grey. We have a Dakota Grey A6 on the lot if ya wanna check out some pics, at www.brianharrisaudi.com

I've seen Garnet Red on an A7, not an A6 but it's close enough. Personally it's not a colour that appeals to me even though it looked stunning.

Here's an A5 in Garnet Red which does show it off very well.

I switched my Moonlight Blue to Garnet Red on my custom order - still haven't seen it in person... I resorted to scouring the Web looking for examples and in each one, they all looked different.

I found these photos on cars.com - at least it's in an A6 - although the A7 and Q7 pictures I found are the same.

OMG, it looks amazing in garnet red. Almost wish I had seen these pics before ordering phantom black.
