I have found several other threads showing success getting 12 volts from their mirror but it's for different models. I'm not having any luck in my 2014 A6 getting my radar to come on. I've identified a couple of 12 volt sources in the pictured connector, both are switched and they read 12 volts on my meter but won't power my detector. A quick bench test and my detector powers right on.

On the 6 wire connector, with the purple wire connected on my meters negative lead, both the black and brown wires read + 12vdc. Is there some limiting circuit in that mirror wiring? Am I accidentally tapping a sensor circuit instead? Any ideas?

Thanks! I had seen that already.
But I got this resolved! My pins we're not fat enough to maintain good contact. I got some thicker mirror taps and it's working just great. Pictures later.
