Indian government is very alert in these cases. Also, car would not be under international warranty. I hope MMI is equipped with 3G low.. How do I check it? May be navigation could be installed with low 3G access too..

Secondly, you all would be surprised to know that this model doesn't come with mmi remote for rear seat.. Horrible 😲😧.. If I purchase mmi remote will that work with my current car's mmi?

Thanks guys for kind support 😊👍..
I had to edit my post because at first I was thinking this was rupees but no way it could have been after a quick calculation. Was in India last june and most things are pretty inexpensive compared to the US. Cars aren't one of them.

I saw someone selling Audi MMI remote on ebay. I hope that could work for me. Where is remote sensor located in MMI?

Thanks for sharing photo as an example.. Indian technology pack doesn't come with SIM even. Navigation takes data directly from GPS data. SIM is used to make personal hotspot that feature is not in Indian models, I hope Audi A8 would.

Adding insult to injury (to the pocketbook) is that the A6, among other models is also manufactured locally in their Aurangabad plant in India.

So in the UK we have a Recommended Retail Pricing (RRP) and then the
Recommended On The Road Price (ROTR) which includes charges such as delivery charge, half tank of fuel and number plates , first registration fee, Road Fund License.

In the US, the big add on is the sales tax and it varies drastically depending on which state and county you live in. It can range from approx. 3 to 10%.

Try this: http://www.kufatec.com/shop/en/categ...t=232&mcat=119

You will need a VCDS type tool (Vag-COM) to code it in though. Form the response you are receiving from your local Audi dealers, I don't believe they will be willing to code it in for you!

or their German site: http://www.kufatec.de/shop/de/catego...t=232&mcat=119

How about "zero" to 10%! There are still a few states that don't have a sales tax. Oregon, for example has no sales tax and the registration is around 250 bucks and covers the first four years. After that it renews in two year increments.

Before you let your imagination run wild, you have to have a legitimate residence in Oregon in order to register there.
