Default Mud flaps or not?

I'm thinking of adding mud flaps, what do you think good idea or bad?

Only if you can install these. Anything else would destroy the lines of the car IMO. (I especially like the bottom chrome strips - adds a nice touch).

Seriously though? Ummm...no, I don't think so - bad idea. (Since you asked...).

Yes if you drive in a heavy snow area where sand and grit is mixed with salt. It will cut down on paint loss behind the wheels.

Mud flaps are not available for the Prestige trim level.

Ironically I have put splash guards on every car I have owned, but have yet to see an A6 with splash guards so I am going to pass on this car. Does Audi even offer spash guards for the A6? I do not see any listed under accessories on the Audi site.

Yes they do, the only reason I was thinking about it is one the snow and salt thing and two the little bits of tar from newly paved roads that gets kicked up, it drives me nuts.

I would probably get them then, I am in Atlanta and if it snows the city shuts down ;-) since they have no snow removal and they only salt/sand the interstates.

I am a little worried about the lines of the car tough. Anyone have any photos of an A6 with the guards?

That is why I opted to skip them for that reason, I have yet to see a pic of a car with them and I too was worried about the lines of the car.
