Default New to the C7

Just wanted to say Hi. My name is William and I've recently picked up a 12' A6 Prestige and so far I'm really enjoying it. I have a long history with VW/Audi and this is my second A6. My previous was an 02' 2.7T manual 6spd.

Quick pic of the new ride

I'm looking forward to learning a bit more about the car and chatting with you all about various issues. I work in IT but I do all my own car/bike Maint. so I'm not afraid to tear into things.

Here's a quick list of VAG toy's the wife and I have and have had.

71' Karmann Ghia
87' Scirocco 16v
88' Scirocco 16v
89' Cabriolet
89' Cabriolet
90' Cabriolet
99' New Beetle
02' Jetta VR6
02' A6 2.7T
03' Turbo S Beetle
10' Jetta TDI
11' A3 TDI

Christ, first time I've really typed all that out. Not sure, but I think I might have a problem....Nah.

Nice looking car. Hope you enjoy it.

Sounds like you'll be busy with VAG-COM mods.

What's with the dupes and sequential years in the car history? Dealer have a BOGO sale?

lol, well the Cabbies are my wifes addiction. First one was destroyed thanks to a young driver not paying attention, second 89' we still have and is my wife's pride an joy. The 90' we picked up on a whim, didn't care for the digi injection and sold it to a friend that really wanted it.

As for the sequential order, it's just a thing I do without much thought.

Vag-com will be coming in shortly, had an older one, using the upgrade program to get the updated version. Need to research and find out what all I can monkey with on this car.
