Hi,

Looking at a used Premium Plus A6 from a dealer who didn't originally sell it.

Does anyone know if pdf's of original window stickers are available somewhere?

I think the best you can hope for is a VIN analysis. I've never heard of a source for original MSRP stickers. If it's possible to find one somewhere in the manufacturer's computers a lot of people would gladly pay for one.

I can post it if you give me the VIN. If you are buying from an Audi dealer they can give it to you as well.

Do you mean any dealer can pull up an MSRP sticker for any vehicle of the same brand?

Can all manufacturers do that?

How many years can you go back?

I know VW and Audi can. Don't know about other manufacturers. I think it goes back to 2011. Maybe 2010.

Also, I've a general question on Xenon plus headlights which is standard on Premium Plus models. My old A8 had them which were great but weren't as good as the 15' VW SportWagen SEL.

So can I expect the Xenon's on a 2014 Premium Plus A6 to be on par with the VW?

They won't have AFS like your VW.

Okay, so I guess the xenon I had in the 05' A8 will be comparable to the xenon in the 14' A6.

Yes, the AFS in the VW (hi & low beam xenon) are outstanding. They even turn with the steering wheel.

Sad story, this VW is going bye-bye next month due to dieselgate. The AFS lighting is a sore spot as their buy back program does not reimburse the $1000 the lighting package cost me.

Sadder still, Bambi recently jumped out in front of the VW and damaged the bumper, hood, fender and broke the left AFS & fog.

FWIW I received a copy of my window sticker from Audi of America, Customer Experience Center (1 800 822 2834).

They sent a pdf file and a hard copy.
