Oil temp and other data

Can anyone tell me if the MMI or center information screen has the option to display oil temperature? How about boost?

Just found the answer to my question in an older thread. Seems like a Vag-com adjustment is required though. Beats me why car manufacturers make it so difficult to access data that they have obviously included sensors for.

Yes and Yes, by enabling the Laptimer option with VAG-COM. I used the VAG list from my B8S4 and you'll find it in various places if you do a search.
