Outside temperature sensor location
hi guys first post here , here I have a 2017 A6 2.0 , my first Audi and experience so far has been great . Now , long story short I hit a bag of soil while going 65 mph on freeway , pulled it aside and visual inspection confirmed damage only cosmetic. My lower side grill flew off and tempuerture sensor was missing in action which also the case for various light came out namely engine ligh, electoral brake and tpms malfunction , got a new sensor and holders it’s all good now. I am puzzled finding the location for the mounting the sensor bracket, can someone tell me the exact location ? Pictures if possible will be much appreciated as it makes things easier. Thanks all

I also don't see the temperature sensor in any of your pictures. Even if it has fallen it seems like it should be visible.
The lower front grill is where it should be as far as I know on the U.S. models.
I removed the upper front-end cover to see what mine looks like. I can't see the temp sensor because it is hidden below the bumper.
My wiring harness splits and one set of wires goes to the garage door opener control module, and the other set of wires goes to the temperature sensor.
