Default Over the Air Map (nav) Updates for C7.5

I love the free map updates since I purchased the (2016) car new, but just realized that the updates (most recent 2018) have all been only for the region of the country I've been located in since I purchased the car there new. The version dates for the maps of the rest of the regions across the country are still at 2015. What if I move to a different region of the country? Will the MMI somehow realize I've moved, and start giving me updates for the new region of the country I moved to? Anyone know how that works? I'm still in warranty till 1/20.

You can do a full map download to an SD Card from the MyAudi website and then update your car from that. Based on trying to do this with my current C8, you need to use a 32Gb SD Card formatted as FAT32 as I could not get it transfer the files onto a 64Gb formatted as exFAT. Also at the moment the car seems to think it is up to date as I did do the OTA update last week so it will not install the data from the SD card. It would therefore seem best when doing this to not do the update via OTA first.

For how many years after you purchase the car does Audi give you the free updates? Until the warranty expires?

In Europe it is 5 updates (1 approx every 6 months) over the first 3 years
