Audi A6 3.0 2012. It indicates a very small exhaust leak. I replaced the gas cap. It didn't help. Has anyone had this problem on the 3.0 engine?

You don't indicate what part of the world you live in but emission controls are warranted for over a 100k miles in California but you didn't indicate mileage either so you can expect ambiguous answers.

For what it's worth... i've seen other instances where the flanges at the exhaust where to the down pipes connect to the catalytic converters end up cracking. These are easily removed and re welded by any muffler shop at fraction of cost than dealer (if this is the problem). Good luck on finding resolution. P0456 is not an exhaust leak. It's an EVAP leak - fuel vapor leak.
