Radio playback cuts in and out

Anyone else experience an occasional intermittent interruption in audio playback regardless of radio, sat or other media connection? Cuts out for about 3 sec and then plays for 3 sec and so on. For awhile it went away for about two weeks. Wondering if it's user error.
