Is the lumbar 4-way adjustment working or stuck in a position you find uncomfortable?

I think it works fine, but even retracted all the way in I can feel it. feels hard in my back, very uncomfortable. I'm trying to find out how to remove back panel of seat so I can get in there and see if I can remove it. Dealers dont want to touch this issue. Short of fixxing seat, Ill need to sell car. Hope I dont have to do that as seat comfort is my only issue. Maybe I should have bought the Prestige for the comfort seat. thanks for reply

Your choices as I see them are:
1. to take the seat apart and remove the support
2. replace the seat with a eBay salvaged seat
3. take it to a automotive upholstery shop and have them show you how to take the seat apart
4. take it to a automotive upholstery shop and have them replace the support with something softer.

I'm looking to do the same thing. I think the back of the seat just pops off but haven't had the time to try it. In the meantime I put a small pillow at the bottom of the seat back. Works OK. It sounds like the opposite thing to do but for some reason it feels more comfortable when you lean back.
