I bought it from Discount Audi Parts at Wholesale Prices because I had an Audi TDI settlement gift card to use up and this website is an actual Audi dealer. The part number is 4G5071126.

However, I believe you can get it cheaper on ebay shipped from a UK Audi dealer for around US$270.

Default new OEM roof carrier set for an Audi A6 2005-2012

I am not that knowledgeable on roof rack systems and was hoping you guys could point me in the direction for full kits or railings that are not that expensive?

Thanks and super stoked to be on here.

It's pretty neat how they are actuated from the inside of the rack so unless you have a key to open and remove the skis you cannot remove the rack from the bars. Here is a link to the ski carrier (both Whispbar and Yakima versions) and then a picture of the attachments.

Have you tried mounting a Yakima bike rack? I unfortunitatly invested in the Whispbar for my 05 and am disappointed they don't make the fit kit for a 2012. I have the ski rack with the universal mounts, so I should be good but I have the Yakima Frontloader bike mounts which if I can't use on the RhinoRack adds about another $400 to a new rack.
I don't like how the new versions don't fit flush, even the Audi/Thule looks cheap on a car that cost over $50k new.

Update: I did some research and ProRack/Whispbar were the same company bought by Yakima but for some reason, Prorack has a stand-alone company in New Zeland. If you go to their website they have their version which is identical to Whispbar and a smart foot kit that works on a 2012 and newer A6's. You can order the foot kit from Rerack.com the part number is K823w.
I just got the kit today and it looks like it will work. As soon as I can give it a try I'll post my results.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I have mounted yakima bike racks on those bars. They use a rubber quick release ratcheting strap that is reinforced in the middle with a steel band. They are new style yakima fork mount bike racks that have a quick release big red **** to tighten front fork axle in and strap to the rear tire, much more secure than one where you leave both wheels/tires on... for my spirited driving.

On another note those sweet rhino rack crossbars I had on my 2016 A6 are up for sale if anyone is interested. You can check them out here.Thanks.

Bit confused about this.

Got a 2014 saloon and bought compatible roof rack online.

The bolt/pin you need to remove in the door shut is very strange shape, fat on each end and thin in the middle. This bolt/pin doesn't go through the hole in the roof rack to mount it.

Can't find any information or videos online explaining it all. Very confusing.

Any help on this pls?

There is a specific tool but you should be able to yank it out with a pick tool.

Default Do you have a parts list for this flush mount set up

As with all racks, the first time you put them on it's measure, measure, and then wiggle around, but let me tell you the build quality is very good and they came with lock cores at no additional charge.

Do you have a parts list for this setup???! Pretty pretty please
