Sunroof fixed glass removal?
Hi,
I have an A6 Avant with the dreaded leaking sunroof. I have removed the headliner (what an effort!) and can see water coming out from above the drain tube.
Problem is, it's the rear corner, so to get to the crack / leak from above, I need to remove the fixed glass panel. If I take the 4 screws out (2 on each side) the glass is loose but won't release at the rear edge. Am I missing something, do I need to take the front (movable) glass panel out 1st?
There is a "lip" from rear to front pieces of glass, so tilting the front glass frees the lip, but I still can't lift it out.
The service manual (ERWin) doesn't suggest I need to remove the front (movable) front panel 1st either. Says it's just 4 screws and it lifts out.
Suggestions greatly received!
