Surround view camera in the 2013 model

In the UK if you go with the Advanced Key option on the saloon (no need to use button on key to unlock the car) then you get the ability to open the boot with a foot movement under the rear bumper. For the Avant you need to have the electric tailgate option as well to get this feature

I just purchased a 2013 A8 (3.0) and it does not have the front camera either!!!
I wonder if my vehicle should have had this on it ?
Also, I understand that there is another option whereby you can open the trunk when you have you hands full merely by moving your foot underneath the trunk ? Is this accurate ?

Your car probably should have the rear bumper undermount trunk open sensor, if you have the Convenience package (option for A8, standard on the A8L)---the 2012 A8s have that feature as part of the Convenience package, so I suspect it was carried over for 2013.
