Do our cars have air suspension or spring suspension? I thought it was air all along but now after doing further research I believe it is springs.

It's spring suspension.

It all depends on geographic locations.

Since the C7 was introduced in North America for MY2012+, the A6/A7 have never had adjustable suspension air or otherwise. The S6/S7 do have adjustable air suspension in NA. As mentioned, it's an option for the A6/A7 in other countries.

Thank you all so much for the clarification. My confusion was from reading about A6's with air suspension from other countries.
