Hello,

I need advice on what to do or look for. I have a gasoline 3.0T Quattro A6 with closing aid and rear side sun blinds. The closing aid feature is not working. When you press the button to open the boot, it just pops but stays there. the motor is not working to open the lid and when you press the button on the lid to close it, nothing happens.

Apart from that, the car is equipped with mechanical rear sun blinds. When i press the button to raise or lower the blinds, nothing happens. just as the closing aid.

I checked the fuses, all fuses are OK. but those two options for some reason do not work

Any ideas of what to do or what to look/check for?

When i got the car, i noticed they were not working. So i wouldnt be able to know when they stopped working. When i bring it to its next service at the local dealership i might ask them to check it for me. But i do not want to pay for allot of man hours for them to check it if its something i could have done myself.

A bad connection, ie: corrosion, loose or disconnected connector are possibilities.
