USP Motorsports A6 3.0T Supercharged Intake System!!

Key Features:
- 4" Filter
- Piping Diameter: 4" to 3.5" to 3" transitions
- Heat shield to protect charged air from engine heat
- Factory piping diameter only reaches a maximum of 3.5"
- Powder Coating option available

i would be keen but would need to understand the benefits as the previous members have stated. Also I would be keen to understand apart from gains what about sound does it make the supercharger more audible. I have a stais exhaust on the way and would be keen to add the intke to the car as well

+1. I just want to express interest and show there is a good size group of members that would buy this if we can get more info on performance gains. $449 is quite a bit of dough with nothing to show but a fancy cone. Let us all know as I would say I am ready to buy.

To answer all of your questions, we do not have any solid exact numbers as far as gains. Here is the explanation...
We are not going to come out with fake dyno numbers/graphs to take your money and give you an intake system. Intake power increase is measured by kg/s of air passing through the system, and the way to measure that you would need forced air at high speeds. Something that an in-house dyno, such as ours, can not emulate. However, we have done testing on vehicles with our systems (with other mods simultaneously) and the cars have made power, as well as significant increases in air volume. Using my best judgement, my estimated increase would be 7-10hp depending on temperatures and intake air speed. Take all of that into consideration and hopefully that clears up some of your questions!
As far as pricing goes.. These are all hand-made, built to order by our in-house fabrication expert. If we outsource them to Asia they would definitely be cheaper, however quality control would definitely be compromised.

I see you guys are in Florida. What about seeing if there are any local A6 owners who would be willing to test the intake on their car to get the numbers?
Stasis did that when testing their components on the A6.
