Default Vacuum Line Broken

Hi Everyone!
I just bought myself a new (to me) A6 with the V6 and found one of the vacuum lines is broken, making a loud hissing sound. Does anyone know where a part number or where this line leads to? It's coming off the vacuum control valve parallel to the electronic plug at the top.

Thanks!

It always help with the model year and where you are from. Many members are from foreign countries, so those vacuum lines may vary by year and Country.

Check out this link to see if anything looks close. Might be under Emissions. You might be able to do a temporary fix by winding some tape real tight. Not sure if you can pop that fitting off.

you should add that to your signature so it's always there for future posts

This is valve is 06E145218A and is listed as a 'coolant valve for cylinder head' (rotary valve) N489.
It looks like the valve just has hose barbs on it and you should be able to get a '90 degree' vacuum hose coupler elbow at a local auto parts store.

USA is not enough because different states have different laws regarding emissions. Put location under logon name and model under your signature to save others readers from unnecessary ambiguity and for you to get relevant answers.
