2019 A6 Prestige Heads Up Display Polarization
Has anyone else had any issues seeing the heads up display with polarized sunglasses? When I wear polarized sunglasses the HUD is much dimmer and almost unusable...

It is well known that Audi HUDs and Polarized sunglasses have issues or do not work. you can tell this by turning your head sideways and the hud magically appears. I had a HUD on my C7 Prestige and no workey with Polar SG's. Same holds true here. If you want to use the HUD during the bright days - you will need NON-Polarized Sunglasses.

This isn't just an Audi issue. Polarized glasses and LCDs are not generally compatible. Your laptop and other screens will likely behave the same way.

This is an issue with all HUD and polarized lenses. HUD uses the image reflected off the glass. Polarized lenses remove reflections off your windshield (and other things like water, etc). You can not make a HUD that is reflected off the windshield work with polarized lenses unless you embed the LCD display into the windshield directly (there are see through LCD screens out there).
I have seen this issue in all HUD displays.
I have seen this issue in all HUD displays.

Pilots face this same issue. It's nothing new, and why pilots wear unpolarized sunglasses...(or whatever the term is)
