Hello,

Does anyone know if the 2020 A6 will be exported to the US with the optional Active (air) Suspension like on the A8?

There are a few things here that I need to clear up.

1) Air suspension exists on the C8 in certain markets, like in Canada.
2) There is no active air suspension option on the C8 at all. Active/predictive air suspension is an option on the D5 A8 only, and does not exist on the Q8, even.
3) I do not believe air suspension is an option in the US at all for the C8.

You mean C8 but we understand.
US will likely not get any air adaptive suspension in the A6 since the Prestige already has the option for electronic "Adaptive damping suspension" like the S4. I know, not air, but it is adaptively damped and only available on the most expensive US A6 model which is already almost $70k...adding air might just be too much and would put it on par with the C7 S6 base price.

Like the C7 S6 the C8 S6 will come with "Adaptive air suspension, Sport" standard, and for the first time have an optional "Adaptive S sport suspension, steel" like was offered for the RS7.

AFAIK, as angry pointed out, the "predictive" suspension is so far exclusive to the D5 A8 and even there I'm not even sure any have arrived stateside with that option yet, if it is even an option yet. Angry can answer that.

Thank you for the correction and yes I made a mistake and updated my post. The predictive suspension on the D5 is only available as an option on the 2019 Audi A8 60 TFSI (V8) -under the Sport Plus Package (98S code), and production of said vehicle begins in August of this year so none have arrived Stateside at the time of this post.
