Automatic Headlights
Hey everyone!
I have a 2019 Prestige - Contour - DA - Night Vis - Sport +21's
I leave the Lights to AUTO and a few times (including yesterday) I was parked in a shadow heavy section of my work parking-lot. The car lighting was in "Night-Mode". I drove out into the sun (4:15pm PST) and it was plenty bright and sunny. The lights never switched off and went into Day-mode. All the way home the lights were on and car were in night mode.
With my previous C7, it seemed to always update itself based on lighting conditions as one would expect.
Is this something with the C8 where it only checks initially on start up? Have I missed a setting somewhere? I have noticed that the car will switch INTO night-mode if I time it correctly but not the reverse. Thanks everyone for your assistance!

In the MMI you can adjust the sensitivity as to when it turns the lights on which may help. I too have noticed it is more reluctant to turn off once on, but I think that is down to Audi not wanting the car to resemble a disco with the lights flashing on and off in a seemingly random and annoying way
