Got 2019 A6 fully loaded yesterday
amazing car !! Such an improvement technologically from my D4 A8
enough bragging !
love the car and all the toys but what’s killing me is how in US stupid rules don’t allow for European technology

is there anyone who worked on getting matrix headlights to perform like every Audi in Europe?
was anyone successful??
min Germany I rent A6 in diesel every time I go



and headlights are sick !! Here we have auto high beam and that’s it

is that a matter of software ? Programming ? Could I purchase some sort of module from Europe that would fix the problem ?
any help and advise would be greatly appreciated !!!

Says "not suitable for US cars", but I'd be pretty surprised if they refused to ship you one.

It will require a firmware update to the headlight control module. I doubt that is something that Kufatec can do for US cars.

can the entire module be purchased or any part that would do the trick ? Is there anyone in USA who had this done you know of?

I saw an A7 here in the US get retro fitted with Full Matrix - It was someone like APR or something on Audizine. Look for the A7 (2019) in Daytona Gray - they got it all working - said it was awesome.

Looks sweet! I have the HD Matrix as well and I'm waiting a bit more to see if the law will change, as there was some initiative to change it around 2018. Audi said they can enable them if that happens.

No on above - that post is a C7.5 A6 - the one I am referring to was a C8 A7 - Daytona Gray....factory (APR or some tuning house...) that built out the A7. They did a pretty lengthy discussion about the Matrix Switch out

Check out the Q8 forum. About 30 of us have had it done. Awesome!

the guy charges $500, will Remote Desktop into your ODB via VAS5054 and windows computer. He then flashes controllers with parameterization file and goes through the self tests. I can 100% say that I have my matrix led lights enabled (on my 2020 RSQ8).
