Central Locking System Error (Rear Driver door)
I have an issue with rear driver door not locking. Error comes up on the dash about the Central locking failure. I can still lock the door manually and it's ok until I try top open it. I'm booked in for the fuel sender replacement and they will look into it, but was wondering if anyone had this before. I will have to pay £140 to diagnose the issue and then potential fix.

Rear Door Locking Problems
I had the same issue on both my rear doors, at different times of course. The first was after parking on Mass. Ave. in DC for an evening event. Moved it to a manned parking lot to provide security of the door malfunctioned.
Both locking mechanisms were replaced under warranty as my A6 is a 2020 model. Not very happy with all the issues on this level of vehicle, but I chalk it up to being built, and delayed, due to the China Virus shutdown at Neckarsulm.

Hey guys , I can give an insight on a quick fix to it.
finding it is easy as this , soft close your door if it won't it's that door.
#1 Child lock switch press don't work go to #2
#2 open door that is the culprit and pull inside handle you will hear it pop free
#3 soft close it'll clear itself
Mind you this is if it/ or you are in a place where u want your car to lock !
Take pics and document to warranty it
