I've seen lots of talk about coding dongles that disable the engine stop/start but have not seen anyone stating that they have used one on the C8 A6/A7 and that it works on these models. I would love to disable the stop/start on my C8 A6, anyone successfully done this and how?

Just picked up a 2019 A6 Prestige in the US, and wow the Start/Stop turns on 95% of the time. Coming from a 2017 A4 where it would rarely come on, pretty much only when pressing the brake harder when stopped this is driving me nuts.

Wasn't aware of OBDEleven or similar tools existed at that price range. It looks pretty easy to use and handy to own. Has anyone actually used it on a 2019+ A6 in the US to disable start/stop?

Driving in Dynamic + Sport also disables start stop

I found that Dynamic alone does not lock out auto stop/start
Shifting into sport does stop the auto stop/start (in any driver mode)
Or you can turn off the switch on the lower screen anytime.

Shifting into sport also locks the car into awd full time (no disengaging the rear axle during sport mode of the transmission)

Why not push the A with the circle around it? I push that to off and my engine stays on...
