Hey everyone!

I just spent some time with Coder Sam, and I had all the MODS done - Primarily interested in the Full Matrix Setup. I know that some here have done it and I wanted to make sure that I configured it correctly and wanted to touch base with you Full-Matrix Peeps. I will post a review and feedback when I have good information to share.

Thanks to Coder Sam - He did a great job and was great to work with!

1: make sure High Beam assist is on in the MMI
2: Run with High-Beam settings all the time? Top Left Stalk forward and make sure headlight is Blue and Auto is on?
3 anything else you can suggest?

I am located In San Diego and I have all the materials to do this if anyone is interested on doing it as well.

Apologies - No parts for the car were needed. The Prestige Model of the A6 with Matrix HD Design Headlights can be Coded or "Activated" so that their true functionality can be utilized. It needs some sophisticated attention, but Coder Sam knows how and can perform the magic (As he did in my car...).

Look for Matrix HD Design Headlights in your cars Config / Prestige, and you should be good to go.

I just chatted with Audi of America and this was their response to my inquiry as to when our local Audi Dealerships will be able to upgrade any USA Audi (mine is a 2019 Q8 Premium Plus model) that has the HD Matrix LED Headlights installed -

"For the Digital Matrix Lights/Adaptive Driving Beams, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has recently published a final rule to allow these. The new rule specifies technical performance requirements for the system that must be met in order to certify for compliance. With this, we are working to understand the new technical requirements of the regulation so we can implement the technology into US market vehicles sometime in the future. No definitive target date has been established yet. There are no plans at the moment to activate Digital Matrix lights/Adaptive Driving Beams."

I recently picked up a 21’ RSQ8 and have attempted to find information from my local dealers and Audi corporate. No luck as stated with some of the posts here.

I'm at a loss as to what is not activated with the matrix lights? I own a 2019 A6 Prestige with every option. What is the upgrade on the lights I am missing?
