Default Mileage has been reset after recall?

Hello,

I just bought my 2018 A6 about 2 weeks ago (01/13/2019) with delivery miles 39.
However, I went back to the dealer today (01/28/2019) to install LoJack, and found something interesting.
First, the car has been recalled once.
Also, the mileage/odometer has been reset after the recall.
The milage was 110 on 11/27/2018 and there is no way the delivery miles on 2019 can be 39 unless the odometer had been reset.
The dealer told me this is a new car and mentioned nothing about the recall/odometer reset when I was buying it.
Is it normal or legal to reset the odometer of a car after a recall before it is sold?

Thanks,

It seems very strange.

Strange but I wouldn't put it past a typo...probably meant 11 miles.
Does your car have the competition package with the sport seats? The recall might have been the PODS repair.

But then PDI was done when the mileage was 5. One typo makes sense. Two typos though......

The PDI with 5 miles was done back in March 5th 2018 then the recall in question that is possibly a typo was done November 27th 2018 which again is why I'm guessing PODS recall (I wish OP would respond) was done at that time prior to its sale to him on Jan. 13 2019
Earliest date is at the bottom of the service history list.

Default Correct odometer

Sounds strange. I would not think it is legal to reset. I am pretty sure that if odometer is changed there is suppose to be documentation
