Even if they were $15k cheaper, I wouldn't buy one. The nose is really really ugly....
Maybe Audi will catch on and restyle the front when nobody buys any in 2005. I can't believe this design ever got past the sketch phase. Sigh....

Agreed, I warmed up to the car in the pre-production pictures but
when they hit the dealers and I saw the car in person I was turned off. My '01 is such a beautiful car I could not imagine replacing it with the new "super-nose."

I've seen one so far "in the wild". a 3.2, silver, w/17s....
It doesn't look toooo bad--not as nice as the C5. There's nothing driving me to go out and get one. I think the darker colors look a little better. I hope they come out with dolphin gray.
Oyster looks purple in direct sun. I'd take good ole silver.

I find the wheel gaps to be as big an issue as the prow.
Especially since Mercedes and BMW are emphasizing big wheels and small wheel gaps throughout their lineup. I've also noticed that Saabs are looking much more clean with minimal wheel gap.
How could Audi miss this? It's easily addressed. They'll probably attribute it to the "demands of the US market." Funny how none of the other Euro-cars seem influenced by those demands.
