@#$%&*!!! looks like my 1 month old ming 2.7 got keyed or something
hairline scratch in the center or the right fender, about a foot long. It went through the clear-coat and color down to the primer, but not metal. I really hate when this kind of thing happens. It's hard to say if it's deliberate or if some just brushed up against it with a purse or something. I generally park pretty far away from everything, so a key is the lightly suspect. On Ming, do they blend the door and or hood and how does it come out? Anyone know a good place to take it in LA. Thanks, I feel better.

Sorry to hear this. I've read an expert with a REAL polisher can get it out..
You may want to search the forum for detail shops in the California area.
By a real polisher I mean a single high speed rotary polisher. Not an "idiot proof" random orbital polisher like I have.
Doug2.7 knows a lot about painting cars. You may want to ask for his help and advice.

This has happened on previous A6, and on current A6. Insurance agent says this is common these days
I honestly do not know why people have to be jerks like that! If they have to key something, they should just key their own throats!
