Default 01 2.7T Trade In Value?

I just came from a Saab/Caddilac dealer, thinking of getting wifey new car since her A6 is out of warranty in a year. Car is 01 2.7T premium pkg, sunscreen, Bose, tip, 54000 miles. Title free and clear. They offered me 14500, I'd appreciate any thoughts from you all.

Default Saab/Caddy dealer? Do they sell Audi too?

Sounds like my local Audi dealer (Erie).

Some dealers go by KBB trade in value. You might get some above if the car is in better shape. Hit them with NADA trade in value.

No, only Saabs/Caddys.

Default Ahhh.....

thought you might be a local. Do your homework on the trade-in value. You'll probably make out if you can sell it yourself. Sounds like the car is a decent one. If they hit you on the trade, they better make up for it on the other car.

Good luck!

Default Be happy with that.

Or sell it privately for slightly more, but not much.

Thanks. I'm in Jacksonville FL. The Audi dealer is on the other side of town. I have an S4 the wifey A6. I love the cars and don't want to part with them but I'm not real happy w/Audi service, and dont want them out of warranty. I think 14500 is wayyyyyy low. Just wanted others opinions.

As a first offer for a trade in, that's probably in the ball park. I sold my '01 2.7T with 48,500 miles last November to a private party for 20,500.
