2 more bent wheels, just not worth it....long
I was a couple of hours into a 14 hour trip to St. Pete Beach when I noticed break lights. After slowing down the truck in front of me swerved hard and I could not avoid the huge pot hole. Both wheels on passenger side down and Im 5 miles from the next exit in VA., so I drive on flats to a tire shop at the next exit. I could not find RS 4 reps anywhere and only had the one 16" spare, so I had them beat the lip out on one so the new tire would seal. I got to St. Pete and had a neighbor 2nd day air an older rep that had been curbed ($90), had a new tire put on and drove home. Great vacation over all, ( I still Love my car) but I think after buying seven reps (only 2 good ones left) I am now through with them....My point is ????
do as The Carbon MAN says and do it right the first time.....its just not worth it...

Lesson learned. If you want nice wheels, but wanna keep it cost effective...
why not try Flik wheels from Edgeracing.com?? That's what I have for almost a yr. now and no bent wheel so far. It's tough to beat $188 a wheel and they're only about 23 lbs. Buy a set of five to keep as a full size spare.

I have the same wheels. Our roads suck here and they are still perfect. Like Michaelangelo said, they are reasonably light, and inexpensive. I think the artic's in anthracite look nice too.

not sure how i did it either, as i'm super careful with potholes and the like.
OEM wheels are not indestructable. are your RS4 reps 18" or 17"?
