Default 2000 Audi A6 4.2 - Park Assist stopped working

Yesterday as I was leaving work I realized that my Park Assist no longer works. When I put the car in reverse instead of the usual brief "beep" I heard and unusual prolonged beeping sound. I put the car in neutral and back in reverse, but this time there was no sound. I asked one of my co-workers to stand behind the car, but there was no warning.

I went home and I scanned fo errors using the VAG software and I got the following code:

VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

Control Module Part Number: 8D0 919 283 P
Component and/or Version: arkingsystem A6 USA D03
Software Coding: 01166
Work Shop Code: WSC 02325
1 Fault Found:
01548 - Sensor for Parking Aid: Rear Right (G206)
37-00 - Faulty

Now the question is if that is indeed the sensor or it could be something else? And if it is the sensor where can I buy it from?!? If somebody knows about the price that would be helpful too!

Thanks!!!

Default VAG COM says faulty sensor, probably a fuaulty sensor. About $80 for the part...

no idea how hard it is to remove from the bumper (secured from the inside).

Don't you watch the commercials? Audi drivers don't need park assist!

Default I tried using the search function, but I couldn't find anything sensor related

There was a few threads here, but all of them were for the location of the speaker and stuff like that...
