2001 2.7T pulling codes: P1140, P1122, P1557, P0113. What to do?
For those of you old timers who are wondering where I've been, you now know that rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Hope you're all well & your cars running smoothly.
I failed my recent MA car inspection due to emissions issues. Here are the codes that my engine is spitting out:
P1140 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B2 S2: Internal Resistance too High
P1122 - (search revealed no hits on this one; Bentley manual anyone?)
P1557 - Charge Pressure Controller - Positive Deviation
P0113 - bad inlet air temp (IAT) sensor (maybe; search results were equivocal)
Dealer (Bernardi in Natick where I had them check the error codes due to the possibility of emissions warranty coverage - ask for Steve Ross; he took great care of me) recommended replacement of bank 2 02 sensor ($211 parts, $224 labor).
Questions:
- What's the likely culprit for these codes?
- O2 sensor replacement likely to heal me?
- Is this a DIY? (most complex thing I've done is upgrading the sways)
- If not, how's the dealer pricing look?
- I've got a silicone TBB and F-hose waiting to get installed; will this play a role?
- ECU light first came on after having my BPVs replaced with Ns (by a competent mechanic) - could this be playing a role?
- Any other wisdom from the forum?
Looking forward to getting my baby whole so I can shine her up and make an overdue appearance at one of the New England GTGs.
Thanks in advance!

well well looks who's showed up... nice to hear from you! Here's the P1122 code scoop:
from Bentley: P1122 means "O2 Sensor Heater Circ., Bank2-Sensor2 Open". The indicated corrective action is " Check oxygen sensor heater".
Hope this helps!
