Default 2003+ models ever stolen?

does anyone know of any 2003+ model A6s or A4s that have been stolen without use of a flat bed truck, or a duplicate key?

Default i just want to know how much to

worry about fitting hidden immobilizers.

If the Immobilizer III has not been defeated yet, other than a very rare and sophisticated thief carrying a complete ECU, then I would not bother with hidden kill switches etc.

If they want your car....they will get it and there is NOTHING you can do about it.

Default Exactly

If a pro works for a steal-to-order ring, and they need your specific car, they'll get it.

If you're worried about amateurs or kids, the factory alarms are probably sufficient. Hell, locking the doors and taking away the keys are probably enough.

Mine still out front. Why are you planning on trying to pick one up on the cheap?
