Default A6 2.7 Picture

A6 2.7 or S4..VERY tough choice. The 2.7 will pin you in your seat! The handling is excellent, and with the optional Sport Package Option you can get Sport Seats and tighter suspension as well! Unfortunately this is the only shot I have.

Default Sport Package Option

Sorry to rain on your parade, but the Sport Package does not have a different (i.e. tighter) suspension.

Check the previous posts on this board for confirmation.

Suspension is tighter on 2.7T, and same for sport or not

Default Re: Sport Package Option

It sure does, saw the ordering guide my self. But, if you would like the normal susp. please do not get the sport package then. The normal susp. is loose just like the curent A6 unfortunately. That is the only bad thing I noticed about this car.....

Default I'm looking at the AoA 30-Aug-99 price sheet right now...

It shows order code PSP as the Sport Package for $750 suggested retail.
It includes:
- Sport seats
- 16" Twin Spoke sport Alloy Wheels
- 16" Performance 205/55 Tires

So where's the sport suspension?

I think Stoney is right, the A6 2.7T already HAS a tighter suspension than the A6 2.8. It's just not as tight as the S4's.

Default Audi 2000 A6 brochure agrees...

I received the new brochure for N.A. yesterday, "The 2000 Audi A6 and A6 Avant." It lists wheels, tires and seat. No suspension. An older "inside Audi" flyer lists retuned suspension as standard on the A6 2.7T.

Please let us know if you find evidence to the contrary!

Default Stoney -- A couple questions...

First, where-oh-where did you get your North American model year 2000 brochure? I didn't think they'd be available for another couple weeks.

Second, would you send me your email address?

Thanks.
